Should You Use Flash Or jQuery When Developing Your Website

In today’s high tech era, computer languages are no less important than the spoken ones. One will be surprised to know that the entire concept of World Wide Web is centered on two languages namely Adobe Flash and iQuery. iQuery is a concise form of Java Script which focuses on the interaction between HTML and Java Script. Flash is a very interesting multimedia platform which can comfortably support bidirectional audio and video streaming. It is the combination of these two languages which helps to create animated and interactive websites, which not only look attractive, but also are useful to the users.

iQuery helps users to navigate through a document in a much easier way and it helps to go through any HTML document with minimum lines of code. It is never the best solution for 3D and vector based graphics. But it is so versatile in nature that people consider it to be an alternative to Adobe Flash.

The advantages of Flash are its wide variety of features, 3D usability and excellent appearance in all the important browsers, user interface built in from within, and large number of font options. It has also got many free commercial tools and can also support vector artworks to a great extent.

In the case of iQuery, it has been observed that the file size is much smaller and it contains many professional free quality programs. It also helps to attach various types of interactive webpage elements and it can be made compatible in i-phones, cell phones, PSP and PS3.

One must know which of these languages can be suitably used in which place. If you are making a slide show or drop down menus, tapped panels, pop ups and expandable elements, you must use iQuery. But when you are working with video or audio player or making complex animations, Adobe Flash is the best option available.
