Social Responsibility Technique
There is hardly a better way to show that your business is serious and your products are reaching the people with no concerns of being blamed about anything than acting socially responsible. The socially responsible business conduct needs to be directed to the benefit of the greater public - most commonly such initiatives are related to green energy production and defending the public morals. This is an indirect marketing strategy that would get the love of the consumers and would make them enjoy your products since they would be the ones on the market that would be backed by the public interest. Several examples need to be given in order to really show the power of social responsibility in marketing.
Google Inc, one of the most valuable companies in the world, invested nearly 1,7 billion US dollars in green energy development. The company invested most of these funds in the construction of a huge power plant in Germany and the rest were exhausted in a major Arizona solar plant project in the US. Thus consumers became familiar with the wider picture of green energy of which Google is an active part. The awareness of Google products boosted with more than 4% among the US consumers and with an average of 12% among German producers. This of course is best way to get people willing to enjoy your services and products.
A similar technique was used by Ford - by installing wind power turbines in its UK assembly plant, the company became energy independent. Thus it reduced to a minimum the emissions of its production in the country. Familiarizing the people with this initiative brought Ford international fame and made it quite more desirable car producer on the UK market.
So when taking the business loan necessary for your business development, bear in mind that the best marketing strategy might be indirect - and it always points to the socially responsible business conduct.
